Cone Beam Radiograph
Cone Beam Radiograph is also called CBCT, Tomographic image or 3D(three dimensional) image. This radiograph gives information from the maxilla(the upper jaw) and base of the skull to beyond the mandible(the lower jaw). This image has vital information regarding key anatomical landmarks including arteries, veins, nerves, floor of the sinus and a multitude of other information.
The Cone Beam I have allows the user to choose the size implant and the precise location that the implant can be placed to allow for maximum retention of implant. It has a myriad of Implant systems to pick from and it is not a closed system(meaning it can readily share information with other systems).
