Versah Drills are drills that are used to create the osteotomy (the space in the bone to place the implant). In the past often times implant drilling systems have focused on the removing of bone to do the osteotomy however there has been a change in thinking regarding this technique. The Versah drill focuses of expanding the bone and densifying the bone.
There is a term for that process and it is called osteodensification. These drills expand the bone making it the bone a better quality to receive the implant. They do not remove bone. They compact the bone and mold it into a better volume of shape.
